Government Certification

Some provincial governments require a minimum number of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by Operators to maintain their Certification.

MPWWA maintains a database of all our course attendees. A transcript can be generated and emailed to you as a PDF showing all CEU values of each course and seminar you have attended.

The following forms are required to be completed as part of the application process to write a Water System Operator certification exam:

Education Experience (Education Experience form _2_)
Application to write (F2 Application form for CQLA and CQDA)

Nova Scotia

Please see Nova Scotia’s guideline for certification renewal. This guideline provides the criteria for acceptable training for the purpose of complying with Nova Scotia regulations for operator certificate renewal. In order to renew a certificate, the number of hours, continuing education units or professional development hours of acceptable training submitted with an operator’s renewal application must be comprised of a combination of formal and practical training.
