38th Annual Training Seminar

"You Are Not Alone: Taking Advantage of Networking"

Prince Edward Island Convention Centre

Charlottetown, PE

April 22nd to 25th, 2018

We would like to thank all of you who attended this year's Annual Training Seminar in Charlottetown, PE!

We are happy to announce that we had great attendance with over 230 delegates and 200 exhibitors in 88 booths.

Please join us again next year in Moncton, NB!

April 14th - 17th, 2019

Another successful conference with  over 230 delegates registered. The technical sessions were well attended and offered current and timely  information to both water and wastewater operations. The tradeshow, with 88 booths and over 200 supplier representatives answering questions and discussing solutions, was a great opportunity for operators to resolve issues they are dealing with daily.  From the Meet and Greet on Sunday, to the “Achieve the Unthinkable” presentation by motivational speaker Jason Cyrus, to the technical tours of local water and wastewater treatment operations,  to the toe tapping and very talented entertainment of the Eddy Quinn & Fiddlers' Sons local group during the Tuesday evening Banquet, to the  Stay to the End luncheon on Wednesday, attendees were provided with an enjoyable experience of  learning how to do things better and networking with their peers! Remember “You are not alone”.

As well as taking advantage of the learning opportunities, delegates continued with the theme of “You are not Alone” by their very generous giving, raising $4,339.00 for the Brain Injury Association of Prince Edward Island (BIAPEI) which is a local non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and contributing to a supportive environment for the brain injury community, and to awareness and prevention of brain injury in PEI.

Many compliments came in from delegates on the technical presentations, tradeshow, tours, brochure layout and information, website info/operation and mobile app, registration process, meals, and entertainment. The Seminar came together and ran smoothly due to the organizational skills and tireless effort of Jerry Villard- Conference Chair, Delbert Reeves- Conference Coordinator and their team,  the Delta staff, K-Audio, Global, our Sponsors and the many others who contributed to the success of the Seminar. Thank you to all involved!!!

Speaking of involvement, a big thank you goes out to Mark Francis for his participation and involvement with the Board of Directors in representing First Nations Operators and communities throughout our region. Mark has decided to step back from his duties as a director at this time and we wish him all the best in his future.

We are very happy to report that Richard Pierro will be the new Zone 11 director representing First Nations Operators and communities throughout our region. You can find his contact information on our Contact Us page. Welcome Richard!!
